Situated in Southern Tanzania, The Selous Game Reserve is the largest animal life reserve, a natural habitat to hippos, black rhinos, elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes and more. Covering an area of 50,000 square kilometers, a huge part of the reserve is set aside for game hunting, with a section of the Northern park found along the Rufiji River, designated as a photographic zone for those wanting the capture the splendor of Selous.
The reserve permits walking safaris, in addition with boat trips along the Rufiji River, especially for those who want to watch the horizon as they cruise along Selous waters.
